Built around authentic NKT275 germanium transistors, it delivers rich, harmonically complex sustain and smooth clipping reminiscent of iconic late-1960s Dallas-Arbiter circuits.

This 2008 example features the desirable external Sun Dial bias control with a rare white dial face, allowing on-the-fly bias adjustment to compensate for ambient temperature shifts or tune the tone from open and woolly to spitty and gated. Inside, the hand-wired circuit is dated January 2008 ('1/08') and fitted with an internal input trim pot.

Cosmetically, the pedal shows light overall wear and has a hairline stress crack at one corner screw boss on the enclosure, but mounts securely and operates normally.
