This vintage 1986 Schaller humbucker offers classic PAF-style voicing with an authentic mid-1980s German build. Reading at a balanced 8.25 k ohms, it delivers rich midrange clarity and smooth harmonic sustain suited for classic rock, blues, and vintage-spec upgrades.
The pickup features open black coils, six adjustable screw poles, six fixed slug poles, and a stamped brass baseplate bearing the Schaller logo, German manufacture stamp, and original January 1986 date sticker. Four-conductor multi-strand wiring allows for series, parallel, or split-coil wiring options, with approximately six to seven inches of usable lead length remaining. A black flat mounting ring with height adjustment screws and springs is installed.
