1980 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop – 11lbs 2oz
This one’s a tone monster—not for the faint of heart. It’s heavy, it’s powerful, and it delivers that thick, classic Les Paul punch. The pickups are not original, but they sound fantastic with braided wire and a full, dynamic range. No markings on them, but they rip. Everything else on the guitar is original. If you’re after that raw late-’70s/early-’80s Gibson mojo, this Goldtop delivers in spades. .84 inches at the first fret. .94 inches at the 12th fret.
