This 2008 MXR Custom Shop Script Dyna Comp faithfully recreates the iconic compression circuit of the mid-1970s classic. Built around the rare metal-can CA3080 IC chip, it delivers the thick sustain, percussive attack, and smooth dynamic smoothing that established the Dyna Comp as a pedalboard essential for clean-picking, country twang, and singing lead tones.
The intuitive two-knob control interface features Output and Sensitivity, letting you quickly dial in subtle peak limiting or heavy, snappy compression. Housed in the traditional red enclosure with vintage script logo graphics, high-grade circuit components, and hand-wired layout, this Custom Shop reissue offers true classic vibe and tone.
