This 1999 Gibson Hummingbird is an 'Early '60s Style' reissue handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana. Carrying the serial number 91749006, this dreadnought model captures the aesthetic and tonal essence of Gibson's classic early golden-era flat-tops. It features the iconic cherry sunburst finish, a distinctively detailed pickguard decorated with hummingbird and floral motifs, and signature split-parallelogram mother-of-pearl fretboard inlays.

The combination of a solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides delivers the rich, warm mid-range and sweet treble response that made the Hummingbird a favorite among songwriters and performers. This particular guitar has settled into its voice beautifully over the last two decades, producing a great-sounding, resonant acoustic response that accommodates both energetic strumming and delicate fingerstyle playing.

In terms of wear, this instrument displays light, natural finish checking in the lacquer, giving it an authentic vintage character. It is equipped with smooth-functioning chrome Grover tuners and remains structurally solid and ready for the stage, studio, or collection.
