This 2009 USA-made EMG 85 active humbucker delivers the legendary warm, beefy tone that has defined modern rock and metal. Powered by an Alnico V magnet, the EMG 85 offers a slightly warmer, more organic high-end response than its ceramic counterparts, making it a classic choice for the neck position or a thick, high-output bridge pickup.

This particular unit features a distinctive textured carbon fiber pattern cover, offering a sleek, modern look for your guitar. The rear of the pickup retains its original factory label clearly dating it to December 8, 2009, alongside the standard three-pin quick-connect header for fast, solderless installation.
