Ibanez SM9 Super Metal Distortion Rare Vintage Guitar Effect Pedal MIJ Japan

Produced in Japan during the classic 9-series era, the 1984 Ibanez SM9 Super Metal expands on traditional drive circuits with a versatile five-knob interface. In addition to standard Level and Drive controls, the SM9 features dedicated Attack, Edge, and Punch controls to dial in targeted midrange bite, high-end presence, and low-end response for tight rhythm work and cutting lead tones.

Housed in a rugged metallic blue die-cast enclosure, this unit retains its original control layout, footswitch mechanism, and battery door. The pedal exhibits cosmetic edge chipping and light surface wear from honest use, but remains structurally sound and ready for pedalboard integration.

Tested and works great!
