The Boss FRV-1 delivers the lush, unmistakable sound of the legendary standalone 1963 Fender tube reverb tank in a rugged compact stompbox. Developed in collaboration with Fender using Boss's COSM modeling technology, this discontinued pedal captures everything from subtle ambient depth to full-on surf guitar drip and splash.
The control layout directly mirrors the vintage outboard unit with dedicated knobs for Dwell, Tone, and Mixer. Adjust the Dwell control to dictate how hard the virtual spring is driven, shape the high-end sparkle or warmth with Tone, and dial in the exact wet/dry balance with the Mixer knob. Housed in a textured brown finish reminiscent of classic vintage Fender gear, it operates on a standard 9-volt battery or PSA-style DC power supply.
This pedal is in very good cosmetic condition, showing honest play wear with small paint chips around the edges and missing the underside foil specification label. The footswitch, jacks, and control pots turn smoothly and operate cleanly.
