This USA-made Peavey Rage 158 is a compact 15-watt practice combo built around Peavey's TransTube circuit. Its clean and lead channels cover straightforward practice tones through aggressive overdrive, with separate pre- and post-gain controls for shaping the lead voice.

The three-band EQ, CD/tape input, and headphone output make it equally useful for focused home practice, lessons, or a portable backup rig. This example has recently been serviced, tested, and works properly.
