This 1969 Fender Champ is a prime example of the coveted early Silverface era, complete with the iconic aluminum drip edge trim surrounding the grille cloth. Powered by the legendary single-ended AA764 circuit, this 5-watt studio and practice staple delivers lush, sparkling Fender cleans that transition smoothly into touch-sensitive, compressed tube saturation when pushed.

The amplifier features its original core componentry, including Schumacher-manufactured power and output transformers dated to mid-to-late 1968, along with 1968 CTS potentiometers and a chassis assembly stamp from early 1969. An 8-inch Jensen loudspeaker delivers tight, articulate response well suited to home tracking or desktop jamming. The controls remain simple and expressive with inputs 1 and 2 alongside Volume, Treble, and Bass.

Cosmetically, the amp is in very good vintage condition, exhibiting honest light wear on the black tolex, mild oxidation on the chassis and transformer bells, and general aging consistent with a carefully preserved piece of late-1960s California craftsmanship. The original two-prong power cable remains fitted.
