This is a 2010 Dean Dimebag Darrell Dimebonics ML, a completely over-the-top tribute to one of the most influential metal guitarists of all time. From the aggressive ML body and forked Dean headstock to the skeleton artwork, razor-and-cross inlays, and unmistakable “Getcha Pull” banner, this guitar captures Dimebag’s personality from one end to the other. It isn’t subtle, and that is precisely why someone is going to love it.
Underneath the wild artwork is a seriously equipped metal machine. It features a solid mahogany body, a set mahogany neck, a 24¾-inch scale, and a rosewood fingerboard. The set-neck construction and mahogany build give it the weight, sustain, and thick midrange needed for massive riffs, while the neck and upper-fret access make it equally comfortable when it is time to start shredding.
The pickup combination is exactly what you would want from a Dime-inspired guitar: a USA Dean DMT DimeTime humbucker in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan Dimebucker in the bridge. The Dimebucker is hot, aggressive, and incredibly articulate under heavy distortion. It delivers tight palm-muted chugs, screaming harmonics, and leads that cut straight through a mix. Switch to the neck pickup for a thicker, rounder sound that still retains plenty of definition.
The Floyd Rose Original double-locking tremolo is ready for dives, squeals, flutters, and all the controlled chaos you can throw at it. Grover tuners, black hardware, and DBD traction-style control knobs complete the package.
The neck is straight, and the truss rod turns in both directions. The guitar plays great up and down the neck and sounds every bit as aggressive as it looks.
These Korean-made Dimebonics guitars do not surface very often, especially in this striking graphic finish. This is a guitar for the dedicated Dimebag or Pantera fan, the player who wants a fully loaded metal machine, or the collector who wants something that immediately takes over an entire room. Plug it into a loud amp, hit the first riff, and you will understand exactly why someone had to build a guitar like this. Whoever ends up buying it is going to have an absolute blast...and once it is gone, finding another may not be easy.
