Amp Repair
Amp Evaluation / Bench Fee:
$100
We offer professional guitar amplifier repair services. We currently have [3] slots available this month. We work on tube amplifiers as a standard service, and solid-state amplifiers on a case-by-case basis. Please note that solid-state amps are significantly more difficult and time-intensive to repair, and in many cases are not cost-effective to service. If you still wish to have a solid-state amp evaluated, please be fully aware that our $100 non-refundable bench fee applies.
All amp repairs begin with a $100 flat bench/diagnostic fee, which covers evaluation, troubleshooting, and an estimate. If you proceed with the repair, this fee is applied toward the final labor cost. After diagnosis, labor is billed at $100 per hour with parts billed separately. We will always contact you for approval before moving forward with any repair beyond the diagnostic stage.
Typical turnaround is 1–3 weeks, primarily due to parts availability and supply-chain delays, which are currently the biggest bottleneck in amp repair.
Expedited parts shipping is available at the customer’s expense if faster turnaround is required.
