1977 Ibanez Artist 2619 Electric Guitar - Antique Sunburst

Crafted during the golden era of Japanese solidbody design, this 1977 Ibanez Artist 2619 represents one of the brand's finest original creations. Built with a sculpted maple cap over a mahogany body, this guitar delivers rich sustain, authoritative midrange punch, and remarkable acoustic resonance. The set-neck construction features an ebony fingerboard adorned with split-block mother-of-pearl and abalone inlays, complemented by the signature headstock scroll inlay.

The onboard electronics provide exceptional sonic flexibility thanks to a pair of original Super 80 Flying Fingers humbuckers. Controlled by a 3-way toggle, independent volume and tone pots, and dual Tri-Sound mini-switches, each pickup can be toggled between series humbucking, coil-tapped single-coil, and parallel humbucking modes. Anchored by the heavy-duty Gibraltar bridge and decorative brass cloud tailpiece, it offers immense sustain and precise intonation.

This vintage instrument shows honest play wear, natural finish patina, hardware oxidation, and the binding deterioration and crumbling characteristic of late-1970s Ibanez production, particularly along the body perimeters and cutaways.
