This Sweet Sound Ultra Vibe II is a high-quality boutique vibrato and chorus effect designed to recreate the rich, swirling modulation of the classic Uni-Vibe circuits that became famous in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Built by Sweet Sound Electronics in the USA, the Ultra Vibe II is widely regarded among guitarists for its authentic optical modulation design and its ability to produce deep, three-dimensional pulse and movement that works equally well for subtle shimmer or dramatic, throbbing vibrato textures. The controls allow players to shape the effect with dedicated Volume and Intensity knobs while the large external speed control allows for precise adjustment of the modulation rate, making it easy to dial in everything from slow, atmospheric waves to fast rotary-style pulses. A separate Vibrato footswitch allows the user to engage the true pitch-modulating vibrato mode, while the main footswitch activates the effect, offering flexibility during performance.
