Vintage 1970's Kingston Antares Teisco Short Scale Jazz Bass

This vintage short-scale bass presents well with an attractive three-tone sunburst finish that retains strong visual appeal, showing cosmetic wear consistent with age and normal play wear throughout. The body exhibits scattered small dings, light scratches, and areas of finish wear most notably along the lower edge and around the bridge area, including a few small drilled holes near the bridge that appear to be from a previous hardware installation. The chrome pickup cover shows surface wear and light pitting, and the bridge hardware displays visible oxidation and patina consistent with age and normal play wear. The pickguard shows light surface scratching, and the control knobs remain intact with legible numbering. The neck finish is clean overall with minor surface marks consistent with age and normal play wear, and the headstock shows small nicks along the edges along with light finish wear around the tuners. The fretboard shows moderate play wear with visible finger contact areas while retaining solid usability, and the frets show light wear consistent with age and normal play wear. Hardware remains structurally intact, and the instrument presents as a solid example suitable for both collectors and players. The electronics have been tested and work properly.
